Their oldest son is a senior at Denver School of the Arts and their youngest son is in second grade. Tom is a woodworker and a luthier (maker of musical instruments). Charisa sings and plays banjo in a bluegrass band with her husband, their son, and two friends. She loves music of every genre, from classical to rap to rock to folk to blues to country. She is a writer, currently working on two books. She loves cooking, gardening, reading, yoga, hiking, the color yellow and sunshine.
|Dustin Adkins, Youth Director
Dustin has served three congregations and at various times he has been on staff as Worship Leader, Young Adult Minister, and Youth Director. He has also served several other congregations with pulpit fill. He worked with our General Church to form the first Young Adult Commission, which coordinates young adult work within the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ.) He holds a B.A. in Ministry and enjoys reading, cooking, and working on vintage radios. He loves working with kids and is absolutely certain that work is the only reason he hasn’t completely fallen off the deep end.
