|Rev. Thandiwe Dale-Ferguson, Associate Minister
Thandiwe (“ton-DEE-way”) Dale-Ferguson has served our congregation since July, 2015. She brings her love for people, her delight in creation and her passion for justice to her ministry with us. Thandiwe feels called to a ministry that bears witness to God’s presence in the world and God’s love for all people. She believes that, together, we can continue to discover God’s call to us, to live ever more deeply into our belovedness and to work for God’s kin-dom here on earth. For Thandiwe, this means speaking and acting for justice, seeking ways to make a difference in our every day lives, pursuing the radical inclusion exemplified by Jesus, and discerning how to better care for our planet.
Thandiwe was ordained at First Christian Church of Greensboro, North Carolina in 2013. She is a current recipient of the Pension Fund’s Excellence In Ministry grant and is part of the Ecumenical Group of Bethany Fellows. She serves as the Co-President for the Alumni Council of the Disciples Divinity House of the University of Chicago.
In her spare time, Thandiwe enjoys relaxing with her partner Darryl and watching her daughter Cora laugh and grow.
