She received her Bachelor of Divinity from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, her Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in Denver and her Doctor of Ministry from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Charisa has been married to her husband Tom since 1989 and they have one son still at home and two children in college. Tom is a woodworker and a luthier (maker of musical instruments). Charisa sings and plays banjo in a bluegrass band with her husband, their son, and two friends. She loves music of every genre, from classical to rap to rock to folk to blues to country. She is a writer, currently working on two books. She loves cooking, gardening, reading, yoga, hiking, the color yellow and sunshine.
Thandiwe Dale-Ferguson Rev. Thandiwe Dale-Ferguson, Associate Minister

Thandiwe (“ton-DEE-way”) Dale-Ferguson (previously Gobledale) was ordained into ministry in 2013. She moved to Colorado from Chicago, Illinois where she completed her Masters in Divinity and served for two years as a chaplain. Apart from her love of hiking, camping and being outdoors, Thandiwe enjoys baseball, building community, cooking, spending time with her partner Darryl, and traveling the world. Among the places Thandiwe has lived are South Africa, New Hampshire, Ohio, Zimbabwe, California, India, Nepal, Illinois, and North Carolina.
Thandiwe feels called to a ministry that bears witness to God’s presence in the world and God’s love for all people. She believes that, together, we can continue to discover God’s call to us, to live ever more deeply into our belovedness and to work for God’s kin-dom here on earth. For Thandiwe, this means speaking and acting for justice, seeking ways to make a difference in our every day lives, pursuing the radical inclusion exemplified by Jesus, and discerning how to better care for our planet.
