During the Covid-19 OUtbreak
As with so many other places of worship and business, Cairn’s building is currently closed. We are still connected as a community online as we continue to meet, worship and serve the community.
Our worship has moved to a Zoom platform. If you would like to participate in worship as a guest please contact us at email@example.com and we will ensure you receive the information you need. We will also be posting our recorded zoom worships on our Sermon's page.
Blessings to all of you. We hope you will visit us when this crisis is past.

Rebecca Hirsch, Music Director
Becca came to Cairn Christian Church in August of 2006. She graduated from Hastings College with Bachelor’s degrees in Music Performance and Psychology. She then went on to earn a degree in Counseling Hypnotherapy. Before moving back to her hometown of Berthoud, Becca taught music at Northeastern Junior College. Currently she works as an accompanist at Coal Ridge Middle School in Firestone and teaches private lessons on piano, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, flute, and voice. Becca enjoys all kinds of music, but her primary love is jazz. She has performed with various jazz groups throughout Colorado and Nebraska, and has recorded with noted Denver jazz saxophonist, Jim Riley. Becca enjoys photography and aviation history. She is also proud of her involvement with MUFON, an international scientific organization dedicated to the study of UFO phenomena. Becca’s favorite hobby, by far, is spending time with her horse, four dogs, and three cats.
Sarah Schneider, Accompanist
Sarah hails originally from Southern Indiana, where she began her musical journey at age 7 with piano lessons, at her mother's insistence, along with her siblings. Finding joy in learning at the keyboard, she began playing for her parents' church at the age of 12 and continued that all throughout high school and her early college years. Since then, she has played piano and organ for many different churches and while she has enjoyed multiple opportunities to work making music, no other musical experience has been as fulfilling and joyful as playing at Cairn Christian Church. Sarah and her partner Dave live in Coal Creek Canyon, and she spends her time away from Cairn working as a metalsmith/jewelry designer and is trying to develop and grow her own business.
Satsuki Howell, Nursery Attendant
Satsuki Howell has been the Nursery Attendant at Cairn since the autumn of 2015. Originally from Japan, Satsuki now lives in Lafayette with her husband Mark and their two young children Emma Mae and Jay. Satsuki brings both passion and experience to her work with our young children at Cairn.
